Back to Work

Over the past few years, Life kept me busy. It brought its lot of great events and challenges, and it was hard to find the time for Art. Though, every artist knows that Art never really goes. It’s always there… When you can’t express your emotions, it haunts your mind and turns to frustration, obsession, until you finally give it space.

Over the summer, I finally had the chance to make some space in my life and with no surprise, Art was the first thing that came to mind: I had to carry on. I missed it so much over the last years that I had to think about giving it a permanent voice and structure my artistic activities.

I went in the attic and in the shed, I dug in my storage spaces and unearthed papers, canvases, paints, brushes, crayons, pigments and pastel sticks… It was as if these were never really put aside and it took only few days to reorganize a working space and re-build my palette. I was a bit rusty, after some time off the easel… but with a couple of life drawing sessions and some smaller scale projects, I very quickly dived back in my love for lines and colours…

This website will be a attempt to display my work and share my thoughts, as I progress in my artistic journey. Back to work! With many projects in mind around Figures, Portraiture and Colours!…
